Gilmore Girls is coming back for a short thing on Netflix. Here are some new, updated stories I propose for the folks of Stars Hollow:
I wrote a satirical eulogy to music for the seventh issue of The Pitchfork Review, Pitchfork's quarterly music magazine.
Radiohead is my favorite band in the world, and inspired by my own annoyance at that I wrote this piece for the sixth issue of The Pitchfork Review, which you can find in bookstores, online, and at Urban Outfitters near you! It’s full of incredible full-on music articles and interviews and other little pieces like this, I highly recommend checking it out. Here are some of the ones from the print + the ones that got cut from the print version for length reasons.
A list of indie-themed costumes I created for issue 4 of The Pitchfork Review, Pitchfork's quarterly music magazine.
A piece I wrote about Kanye's use of "hanh" for the third issue of The Pitchfork Review, Pitchfork's quarterly music magazine.
Another South By Southwest has come and gone, and tech entrepreneurs are flocking from of Austin, Texas like Al Pacino from a good script. But before the coders and capitalists left town, they registered their interest in a variety of creative apps and services that promise to bring about a new age of digital possibility. Aching to get into the venture capital game, CollegeHumor sent me to this year’s SXSW with $100,000 USD, which I chose to split between 9 different start-ups that proved their worth to me. I believe these services, which are totally real and not services I made up so I could keep the money, will bring us closer to a cooler, efficient digital age. I’m very excited to present them to you.
I wrote a satire piece for Thought Catalog as a response to a seeing slew of "how would I explain homosexuality to my children" bullshit in the news.
Webster’s Dictionary defines “segue” as a smooth planned transition between two points of different substance. Here’s my review of some movies released in 2013 that I did not watch!
